PSI exists to train difference-makers -- professional counselors and marriage and family therapists equipped with sound knowledge and clinical skills. Upon graduation, each alumnus has the potential to impact more than 8,000 souls over the course of his or her career.

Programmatic Research

The goal of programmatic research at PSI is to further the understanding of the integration of psychology and theology as it relates to the areas of counseling and spiritual growth. PSI encourages faculty, supervisor and student research in the integration of applied psychology and practical theology. Through our academic programs and the operation of our counseling centers, we're building a large data bank of psychological and theological information to demonstrate the effectiveness of counseling from a Christian perspective.
