One in four Americans suffers from anxiety, depression or substance abuse. Where do people turn for help? Through PSI, God is training new generations of counselors, pastors and laypeople to serve as Christian caregivers.

The Nature of God by Angie Conroy

  • Wednesdays 4:00-5:00pm
  • Leader: Angie Conroy
  • 10 week study about the character of God -- beginning May 7.

Biblical Study

  • Mondays 7:00-8:00pm
  • Leader: Pastor Royce Powell
  • Ongoing exposition and in-depth study beginning in Genesis. Royce has been a pastor in the Chattanooga area for 45 years.

Pastors Prayer Group

  • Tuesdays 1:00-2:00 p.m.
  • Leader: Everett Gossett
  • Prayer for pastors, their churches and families in addition to the Church at large. Mr. Gossett has pastored Red Bank Presbyterian Church for more than 35 years.

Bible Memory Workshop

  • Wednesdays 11:00am-12:00pm (cost is $12)
  • Leader: Ginnie McPherson
  • Using the Navigators' Topical Memory System, participants will learn two verses per week with accountability from fellow learners.

Biblical Prophecy

  • Wednesdays 12:00pm-1:00pm
  • Leader: Ed Kleiner
  • Mr. Kleiner, a veteran teacher, was born a Jew, trained as a nuclear engineer and teaches physics at Chattanooga State.

Biscuit Club

  • Thursdays 7:00-8:00am (breakfast available for $2)
  • Group led
  • Ongoing men's group study of the Bible.

Selling Among Wolves

  • Thursdays 7:00-8:00am (breakfast available for $2)
  • Leader: Tom Francescon
  • Ongoing men's group study of the Bible focused on Christianity in sales.

International S.S. Lesson

  • Thursdays 11:30am-12:30pm
  • Leader: Marshall Robinson
  • This is the institute's oldest, continuously offered program. A rehearsal of the following Sunday's Sunday school lesson.
