One in four Americans suffers from anxiety, depression or substance abuse. Where do people turn for help? Through PSI, God is training new generations of counselors, pastors and laypeople to serve as Christian caregivers.

Poindexter Library - Chattanooga Campus

The Poindexter Library at our Chattanooga campus is named for Mrs. Ellen Sharp Poindexter, one of the founders of the Chattanooga Bible Institute (CBI), which was established in 1933 and merged with PSI in 2000. Mrs. Poindexter was a long-time board member and benefactor of CBI. Her granddaughter, Mrs. Eleanor Willingham Powell, is a member of PSI Board of Trustees.
