Spiritual Formation & Small Group Resources

PSI develops materials to enhance psychological care and spiritual formation. Known as the Curriculum of Christlikeness, these video series with accompanying teaching materials make excellent resources for Sunday school classes or small groups. Three installments are available and may be purchased by clicking on the links below.

God Views

We believe one's view of God is the most fundamental element of personal Christian formation. To misperceive God may result in a lifetime of avoiding His presence. But to see God clearly is to discover that the most powerful being in the universe is our compassionate Father.

With the God Views curriculum materials, you and your group will enter a journey of discovery. Along the way, you will examine six of the most common false views of God, and four true pictures. You will also experience a variety of Bible studies and creative exercises designed to help you enter into more intimacy with your heavenly Father.

Curt Cloninger, a talented teacher and comedian, will be your guide. His portrayals will make you laugh, and they will make you cry. Sometimes at the same time.

Renovation of the Heart

Renovation of the Heart is a video-based curriculum built on Dallas Willard's most recent book, Renovation of the Heart: Putting On the Character of Christ. It is designed to help Christians develop inward Christlikeness.

With these curriculum materials, you and your group will have the resources to experience significant growth in your Christian walk. You will be able to listen to Dallas as he discusses each of the chapters in his book, and you will be a fly on the wall for an unscripted conversation among Dallas Willard, Larry Crabb, and John Ortberg concerning authentic transformation.

The focus for your journey is the six different components of you-thoughts, emotions, will, behavior, social relationships, and soul. Through lecture, conversation, group exercises, Bible study, and spiritual practices, you will learn how transformation happens.
