Clinical Faculty and Private Counseling Practice Opening at the
Psychological Studies Institute (PSI) in Atlanta

PSI is a growing, regionally accredited graduate program offering Master's degrees in Professional Counseling and MFT from a Christian worldview. PSI invites applicants for two full-time clinical faculty positions in Atlanta, Georgia, beginning January 1, 2008. Candidates must be able to communicate their Christian faith and how they integrate their faith in the classroom. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in counseling, MFT or psychology and be licensed or licensure-eligible. Each position is a full-time clinical faculty post with responsibilities for teaching approximately 6 graduate semester hours per academic year and for supervision of student interns. The successful applicants will be provided with a furnished professional office in a growing counseling center, and assistance in marketing a private practice. PSI seeks outstanding clinical professors for courses in MFT, professional counseling, integration of psychology and theology, and psychopathology/treatment planning from a Christian worldview perspective.

JOB OPENING: Assistant Registrar

Start Date: 7/1/08

The Psychological Studies Institute is seeking candidates for the position of Assistant Registrar. The individual who holds this position will direct the activities of the Records Office including but not limited to ensuring the maintenance and integrity of academic and student information, course registration, the recording of grades, production of academic transcripts, certification of student enrollment status and completion of degrees. Attendance at one appropriate professional development conference per year is expected. Immediate priorities include assisting the Registrar with the development and implementation of procedures and processes related to the CAMS student information system and digitizing historical student records. The position will report to the Registrar and be a crucial player in the Academic Team. He or she will supervise the Receptionist and two Graduate Assistants assigned to the Records Office.
The successful candidate will hold at least a Bachelor's degree — a Master's degree is preferred — and have related work experience. He/She will consistently display accuracy and attention to detail, be familiar with a number of computer applications including the Office suite and have excellent interpersonal skills. Preference may be given to those applicants who are able to work a traditional 40-hour week.
